LENGTHS CHARGED
Minimum length charged (except Bank Moorings): 6m. Boat length is measured overall including accessories rounded-up to the nearest 0.2m; plus 0.4m for outboards and sterndrives; 0.6m for bathing platforms; 1.0m for davits and/or tender.
HARDSTANDING
FREE of charge to all permanent berth-holders. Visiting boats hardstanding storage available at standard mooring tariff, subject to availability. Please contact Marina Office (01753) 851501.
GATE SECURITY
Gate security cards are provided from the Marina Office Free of Charge (one per boat). Extra cards available at Marina Office £10 per card. Visitors please ask for current security code.
CHANDLERY
Please contact Chandlery on (01753) 496940 for all your parts, chandlery, fuel and gas.
RACECOURSE CLUB
Membership of licensed Club free of charge to all berth-holders and their families.
PUMP-OUT
Self-service pump-out machine on fuel pontoon. £10 tokens are available from the Chandlery. (£5 for Loyalty Scheme members – see below). ELECTRICITY SERVICE CHARGE
Mains shore supply provided via standard MCB and metered lead. Metered leads are provided by the Marina for a refundable deposit. Only metered leads provided by the Marina may be used; boats found connected to shore supply without using a metered lead provided by the Marina will be disconnected without notice.
Refundable deposit on metered lead: £117.50 in advance (includes VAT at 17½%)
Metered charge per Kwh unit variable to equal supply costs. Invoices for mains shore supply must be paid on receipt of invoice. Charges for metered units include standing charges, monthly demand charge, capacity charge, climate change levy, repair and renewal costs, NICEIC certification costs, maintenance costs, and administration costs. The proposed charge for the 2008 season is 13.35 pence per unit (includes VAT at 5%). This charge may alter without notice as supply costs alter.
Important notice: Electric supply continuity cannot be guaranteed. Mains electricity is only available to boats with a properly equipped and protected ring-main installation. Electricity is supplied in accordance with OFGEM regulations.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All berth-holders agree to abide by the standard terms and conditions of mooring and storage as displayed in the Marina office. All owners are required to provide Insurance cover for third party claims of a minimum £3,000,000 and may be asked to produce evidence to this effect. Residential use not permitted.

HOW TO RESERVE YOUR BERTH AT RACECOURSE MARINA
Visit Racecourse Marina and see all the facilities for boat owners as well as the beautiful setting. Please ask a member of staff to show you around the site.
Ask for a quote for a mooring for your boat.
Check with Marina staff for the availability of a berth.
Make your choice of the berth for your boat from those currently available.
Consider whether you want mains electric supply.
Choose whether you would prefer to pay for your berth by monthly instalments or take advantage of the cheaper yearly rate.
Book your berth! Simply ask a member of the Marina staff who will be pleased to complete all the paperwork with you.
You can also reserve a berth for later arrival, subject to availability. Simply place a deposit and confirm your arrival date and berth number.
Make sure you have signed the mooring contract, as well as having adequate Insurance and river Licence. The Marina staff can assist with all these.
Bring your boat to Racecourse Marina. Do you need transport? Please ask any Marina staff member and we will be pleased to assist.
