PRESS RELEASE: MOORERS ENJOYING THE BENEFITS OF TINGDENE MARINAS LOYALTY CARD - June 2007
On April 1st 2007, Tingdene Marinas Ltd. introduced their Loyalty Card to annual berth holders at each of the company’s six marinas. The card entitles the berth holders to a host of benefits including discounts on fuel purchases, pump outs and insurance whilst also providing free unlimited hardstanding at most of the marinas.
The one benefit that is proving a big hit with berth holders is the opportunity to spend 14 nights, free of charge, at other Tingdene Marinas, and if they wish, they can transfer their mooring permanently to another marina within the group.
Dave Izzard, a berth holder at Walton Marina, is taking full advantage of this perk as here he is, pictured, getting “Premier Cru” ready to set off for a long weekend at the newest addition to the Tingdene family, Racecourse Marina, Windsor.
“I like the cross pollination of the marinas” comments Dave “It also gives me the opportunity to cruise the upper reaches of the river and discover new places to visit as well as new pubs and restaurant to frequent.” Dave continues, “We especially like Racecourse Marina because of its location, we very much enjoy attending the race meets”. Dave has already planned a visit to Thames and Kennet Marina, Reading, later in the season.
Some moorers have also taken the opportunity to transfer their moorings permanently to another marina to open up other waterways to explore.
Tingdene Marinas Ltd. is thrilled with the response from their moorers to the introduction of the Loyalty Scheme and look forward to developing the scheme and offering even more benefits in the future.
